Artis Zoo

Yesterday I went to Amsterdam with a friend. We visited the Zoo, Artis. We had SO much luck with the weather and all sorts of baby animals were present as well. And they are SO cute and adorable. Of course I took my camera with me. :D I also took three pics from the Artis site because they are SO much better than mine. Of course I will tell you which are snatched from the site.

Again, users of dial-up Internet beware. There are a lot of pics behind the cut.

Yes. The animals were cute, adorable, irresistible, cute, adorable, and did I mention cute? :D *nods* The little elephant sure was the star of the Zoo. So funny little thing, she doesn't know what her trunk is for. But she immitates her mum and aunts. If they reach for some food very high up she sticks her trunk high in the air too. But when she feels the dry grass they got from the basket she immediately puts it down again. :D So cute.

And Chinese is YUMMY. :D I really don't mind eating that. I simply love it. Not that I don't like steaks, Mexican food, Italian food or fish but Chinese just is one of my favourite things to eat when eating in a restaurant. Chinese and Indonesian. :D

Chinese is my favourite too when eating in a restaurant. :) Italian is very good too, we had Italian when I was visiting Ryan. Their tiramisu was so yummy!
If I could I would eat granny's cooking every day though. ;)

OMG!! I didn't know that. I have seen several signs with the message "adopted by + name of company". But I didn't notice any sign at the elephant house. *ignores this knowledge and focusses on the lovely cuteness of Yindee instead* *smirks*

Two swans were adopted by KLM. :D Maybe they were the models for those commercials. ;)

These are wonderful! Cute and pretty and eee! the little elephant is too cute for words, and I LOVE the girrafe! And eeee, meerkat (surikata in czech, will look for the english word) - I <3 those!
